Walkthroughs of the things people do with WX Navigator. For reference material, see the documentation. For the iPhone app, see the Offwind for iPhone guides.
- Route a coastal race. The whole loop, from an empty chart to a track you can send the crew.
- Use your ORC certificate. Finding it, and what to do when it is not there.
- Read the search display. What the bands mean and how to spot a bad route.
- Use the route chart. Animate weather and currents, inspect the search, and time a line of your own.
- Check route stability. See whether modest wind or boat-speed changes move the strategic answer.
- Scan departure times. Finding the start that wins.
- Share a route with your crew. Links, exports, and what each contains.
- Plan a race with your crew. A project: one course, shared boats, and a run history nothing can edit.
- Review a race after the finish. Freeze the plan, import the track, and check both execution and forecast.
- Race mode: route from here. Re-routing the rest of the course from on board, over a weak link.
