The Helm can hold up to eight pages. You add, order and remove them at the bottom of the field editor, in the section headed Pages.
Add a page
- Open the field editor. Press and hold the page dots, or choose Edit fields and pages from the chart menu.
- Scroll to Pages. The header says how many you have, for example Pages (4 of 8).
- Add page. Choose the kind: Chart, Data, Wind, AIS, Route or Trends. The new page goes at the end.
Drag a page's row to move it. To remove one, swipe its row to the left, tap Remove, and slide to confirm. Removing a page loses its layout, which is why it asks. The last page cannot be removed.
The kinds of page
- Chart. The chart, with fields under it in portrait or beside it in landscape. The editor's Data column setting on a chart page puts the landscape fields on the Left or the Right.
- Data. Fields only, no chart. While the start timer runs, its countdown shows above the fields. Along the bottom are three large buttons: Record starts the track, Mark puts the time and position on the recording, and Sync rounds the start timer to the nearest minute. While a track records, Record becomes Stop, which you hold to stop the recording.
- Wind. A dial with the boat's bow at the top. Apparent wind is a solid wedge and true wind an open arrow marked T, so the two differ in shape as well as color. The close-hauled sectors are drawn either side of the bow. Beside the dial are Apparent and True, each with its angle and speed. The fields under it start as TWD, VMG, BSP and Polar, never the numbers the dial already shows.
- AIS. Every target your AIS receiver reports, dangers first, then nearest first. Each row has the name or MMSI, range and bearing, and CPA with the time to it. Danger and Stale are spelled out. Tap a row to center the chart on that target.
- Route. The active route: its name, Next, BTW / DTW, XTE and ETA, then every leg, with the passed ones marked Passed. Previous and Next change the waypoint and Stop navigating ends the route; each needs a slide or a hold. With no route active, the page lists your routes, each with Activate route.
- Trends. Plots of values over time. See Read trends.

Settings › Layout holds the whole cockpit setup:
- Export configuration saves one file with the pages, fields, cockpit settings, units, precision, damping and alarm settings. Send it to the rest of the crew.
- Import configuration loads one of those files and replaces your own setup with it.
- Reset layout puts the pages and fields back to the starting layout. Hold it to confirm. It leaves every other setting alone.
