After the gun

The race screen, its layouts, and End with the race's summary.

At the gun the race page becomes the race screen: race time on top, then the numbers you sail by.

The race screen's default: heading and speed, each the screen's width.

Layouts

Choose one in Setup › Home after the gun:

  • All six: heading, SOG with its 10-second average and maximum, COG, shift, heel and VMG.
  • HDG SOG HEEL TRIM: the four a dinghy or keelboat helm watches.
  • HDG SOG COG.
  • Custom: two to four readings of your choice. Two stack, each the screen's width; three put one across the top and a pair below; four make two pairs.
All six readings, with rules between pairs so neighbouring numbers never read as one.

Tap the SOG reading to reset its maximum.

End

Hold End when you finish. Race time stops, the finish is marked in the recording, and the page shows the summary: race time, distance sailed, average and maximum speed. Next race clears it for the next start.
