Read the forecast at a place

See the forecast for one spot hour by hour, at the boat, at a mark, or anywhere you tap.

The chart shows the weather across an area at one time. The forecast at a place turns that round: one spot, every time the forecast holds, in a table you can read at a glance.

Open it

  • Anywhere on the chart. Tap open water, or a mark. The card shows the forecast at that spot at the chart's time in one line, for example 14 kn 245°T · G19 · 1014 hPa · 1.2 m. Tap Forecast on an open-water card for the full table.
  • From the panel. Tap Wx, then Here. With no spot chosen it is the forecast at the boat, or at the chart's center when there is no position.
  • From a project. Under Weather, tap Forecast along the way.

A pin marks the spot on the chart while the Here tab is open.

Read the table

The heading says Forecast here, Forecast at the boat or Forecast at the chart's centre, with the position and the model and run.

Each row is one forecast time from now on, under the day's name where the day changes. The columns are the layers you hold:

  • Wind kn, with an arrow for the direction it blows toward;
  • Gust;
  • hPa, the pressure;
  • Wave m;
  • Curr kn, with an arrow for its set;
  • Rain, in millimeters an hour.

Each value is tinted the way the chart shades it, so the table reads like the chart.

Move the chart to a time

The row for the chart's time is marked. Tap any row and the chart's time moves there, with the weather turned on.

Limits

The table needs a forecast held for that spot. Without one it reads No forecast held, with a Get weather button.
