Tap the gear in the race header for Race setup. Changes apply at once; Done closes it.
Profile
- Boat profile 1, 2 or 3: each keeps its own settings and boat. Switching saves the current one and loads the other.
- Class mode Full or Compass + timer. Compass + timer hides everything that comes from GPS (the line, SOG, COG, VMG, time to burn and the laylines) for classes whose rules allow only a compass and a timer. The LED strip then shows the timer.
Boat
Bow offset (phone to bow): the distance from the phone to the bow, in half metres, so the distance to the line is measured from the bow.
Compass
- Magnetic headings shows headings and bearings in degrees magnetic, using the variation the phone's compass reports.
- Compass offset (mount yaw) turns the compass for a phone that does not sit square to the centreline. Set it with − and +, or tap Align to COG and hold a straight course at 3 knots or more for 20 seconds in still water; the app measures it. It gives up if the course is not straight or fast enough.
- Heading damping and SOG and COG damping: Off, Low, Medium or High. The distance to the line is never damped.

Start
- Sync: Down to the minute, or the Nearest signal.
- Line picture on the start page: the start drawn as a picture, the line with your boat on it, instead of the distance.
- Dead reckoning between fixes: carries the distance to the line forward between GPS fixes.
- Spoken countdown.
